Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in performing various welding processes including SMAW and GMAW

• Maintain compliance with health and safety standards

• Help read blueprints and prepare materials

• Fit weldments accurately and apply welding techniques

• Support measurement applications using mathematical skills

Requirements:

• High School Diploma required for apprenticeship

• Alberta Welding Certificate or Inter-Provincial Red Seal needed for Journeyperson

• Must be able to pass CWB welding tests

• Clean Class 5 driver’s license preferred

• Prior experience with metal fabrication tools is an advantage
