Are you a hands-on maintenance leader who takes pride in quality workmanship and leading by example? Our client, a well-established property management company serving Lethbridge and Southern Alberta for over 30 years, is looking for an experienced Maintenance Foreman to oversee maintenance operations across multiple properties. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a leadership role while still enjoying time in the field.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining safe, functional, and well-cared-for properties while supporting and mentoring a small maintenance team.

- The rate of pay will be $72-82K/year based on experience
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Occasional overtime is required
- Lead and coordinate maintenance activities across multiple commercial properties
- Supervise, mentor, and support maintenance assistants
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain building systems including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry components
- Assess repair requirements, prioritize service requests, and coordinate materials or external trades as needed
- Complete general building maintenance including painting, patching, fixture installation, and repairs
- Perform seasonal property maintenance including landscaping, mowing, and snow removal
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality
- Communicate proactively with management regarding property conditions, maintenance priorities, and improvement opportunities
- Minimum 5 years of progressive maintenance, facility maintenance, or multi-trade experience
- Experience working with building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or mechanical systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with a focus on quality workmanship
- Ability to operate equipment such as skid steers, telehandlers, riding mowers, and trailers
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing hands-on maintenance work
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Customer-focused, professional, and dependable approach to work
- Valid driver’s license with a 3 year clean driving abstract
- Willingness to travel surrounding Southern Alberta locations as required
- Flexibility to accommodate seasonal and operational scheduling needs
- Functioning smartphone
- Previous leadership or team supervision experience
- Trade certifications or formal training in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or related fields
- Experience coordinating contractors and external service providers
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and building safety standards
