Pumping Laborer at Gold Fields

Join Gold Fields as a Surface Service Pumping Laborer in northern Québec. You'll be vital in ensuring pump operations and performing essential inspections at the world-class Windfall Project.

As part of our dedicated team, you'll work under the surface service supervisor, focusing on pump management and maintenance while fostering a safe work environment. This role entails a rotational schedule of 15 days on, 13 days off, with transportation, accommodation, and meals provided. Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure proper functioning of pumping equipment

• Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics

• Perform preventive maintenance on pumps

• Keep accurate records of operations and interventions

• Assist surface supervisors in daily tasks

Requirements:

• Diploma in mechanics or similar field

• Previous experience in pumping system management

• Good knowledge of industrial safety standards

• Valid Class 5 driver's license required

• Proficient in reading technical drawings
