Heavy Duty Mechanic

Technician Full Time Lethbridge, AB $40–$50 per hour

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills are required. Hourly wage is based on experience and ranges from $40 to $50 per hour; the highest wage will be awarded to those with exceptional diagnostic abilities.

Pre‑employment skills testing will be conducted during the first in‑person interview.

• Maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing all truck systems.
• Commercial vehicle inspections.
• Quality repairs and maintenance on heavy‑truck and diesel engines from multiple brands.
• Proficient in emissions inspections, drive‑train, electrical, air/brake system repairs.
• Interpret work orders and technical manuals.
• Write detailed and professional reports on work orders.
• Maintain a clean work environment, personal tools, and company equipment.
• Display a positive attitude and collaborate as a team to achieve success.
• Mentor other technicians.
• Collaborate with the foreman and service department to ensure efficient shop workflow.
• Meet or exceed standard repair times.
