Regional Heavy Equipment Technician
Full Time – Taber, AB, Canada

Responsibilities- Maintain safety as your primary responsibility.
- Assist and support branch teams within the region under the direction of the Regional Service Area Manager.
- Interact with branch staff, customers and management as a safety champion.
- Recondition and repair all equipment components and systems assigned by branch leadership at customer locations or designated shop locations.
- Maintain accurate working records for time, parts, supplies and outside purchases related to repairs.
- Order required parts and materials through the local parts department.
- Maintain and care for shop tools, equipment and vehicles.
- Keep work areas clean and safe.
- Maintain a high level of customer and branch satisfaction.
- Work with RASM, SM and foreman to identify and mitigate challenges, improve local area and build customer trust.
- When regional work is not available, work from the assigned local RME shop location, traveling on own time.
- Maintain the assigned field service truck so it is ready for customer service.
- Travel to non‑home branches will be paid time and expense; non‑home branch support will be billed to the allocated branch.
- Complete IDP and ADP as directed by the RASM.
- Provide regional support to all branches within the region and may be called upon to assist other regions or provinces as workload and conditions arise.
- Strong technical skills.
- Completion of a formal apprenticeship program preferred.
- Understanding of the agriculture and/or construction industry.
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of health and safety best practices.
- Knowledge of Case IH, Case CE and New Holland equipment is an asset.
