As a Journeyperson Mechanic at SOUTHLAND, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining our fleet, which includes ongoing repairs, diagnosing equipment issues, and completing CVIP inspections. Your expertise will help ensure that our buses operate safely and efficiently. Fieldwork may be required for buses that are down, emphasizing the need for strong troubleshooting skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct ongoing maintenance and repairs on buses

• Diagnose equipment problems accurately

• Perform CVIP Inspections regularly

• Respond swiftly to bus breakdown calls

• Complete all necessary documentation for repairs

Requirements:

• Valid Journeyperson Ticket (Automotive or Heavy Duty)

• 2–5 years of related mechanic experience

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken

• Valid Driver’s License, Class 2 or 3 preferred

• Analytical skills and computer proficiency
