This role requires over 2 years of experience in trailer repair or heavy-duty vehicle maintenance. You'll be responsible for conducting preventative maintenance and CVIP inspections, utilizing diagnostic tools effectively. Proficiency in areas like air brake systems and electrical wiring is essential to excel in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect and repair brakes, lights, and suspensions
• Perform preventative maintenance and ensure CVIP compliance
• Use manuals for diagnosing and troubleshooting issues
• Keep accurate service records for the Rental Department
• Collaborate with team members to ensure safety
Requirements:
• 2+ years of related experience preferred
• Valid CVIP licence and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of air brakes, suspensions, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to interpret technical documents
• Valid driver’s license;
Class one or three is beneficial
