A Journeyman Ironworker installs and secures structural steel and metal components for commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, erecting steel frameworks, positioning and bolting members, rigging materials, and operating steel erection equipment. The role requires strong knowledge of iron working practices, safe rigging, and working at heights while following safety procedures and ensuring accurate installation.

- Frame structures and apply finishes
- Prepare, clean, and maintain job sites
- Load, move, and position materials
- Operate tools and construction equipment

- Strong work ethic and quality focus
- Collaborative under pressure
- Flexible availability and travel
- Certified Journeyman Ironworker
- Ability to read structural drawings
- Proficient with rigging and tools
- Valid safety certifications and PPE
- Comply with health and safety policies
- Ensure worker training and PPE use
- Identify hazards and control risks
- Manage incidents and investigations
- Inspect workplaces and improve safety
