South Plains Rural Health Services is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Health Counselor to join our Levelland team. We are looking for a Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Professional Counselor Associate who is committed to providing quality behavioral health services in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

What You'll Do
Assess clients' counseling and behavioral health needs
Establish treatment goals and objectives
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide counseling interventions to help clients achieve their goals
Document client assessments, services, and progress
Make referrals to other services and community resources as needed
Follow established behavioral health protocols and documentation requirements
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinic staff to provide comprehensive care
Protect the confidentiality and security of client information
Maintain applicable state licensure and continuing education requirements
Participate in performance improvement and community outreach activities
What You'll Bring
Current Texas license as a Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Professional Counselor Associate
Knowledge of behavioral health assessments, treatment planning, and medical record documentation
Familiarity with the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders
Familiarity with evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions
Ability to build positive relationships with clients, families, healthcare professionals, and community organizations
Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
Mental health experience preferred
