- ** Position:
** Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
- ** Experience Level:
** 2 years required;
First timers welcome!
- ** Shift:
** Night shifts, 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
- ** Weekend Commitment:
** 6 weekend shifts per schedule
- ** Patient Ratios:
** 1:2 for optimal care
- ** Float Requirement:
** Must be able to float between units as needed
- ** On-Call Requirement:
** Not required
** Responsibilities:** - Provide exceptional care in a
** high-paced Labor & Delivery environment**
- ** Triage obstetrical patients
** effectively, ensuring timely assessments - Expertly perform
** Fetal Monitoring
** and manage high-risk antepartum care - Utilize
** IUPC placement
** and calibration with precision - Administer
** IV therapy
** and phlebotomy under best practices - Maintain
** central lines** (CVC/PICC) with stringent protocols - Manage a spectrum of
** medications
* * including:
- Anticoagulation therapy - Antihypertensives - Insulin drips - Magnesium Sulfate therapy - Assist with
** high-risk deliveries**, including:
- Circulating for C-sections - Recovering C-section patients - Performing sterile vaginal exams
** Preferred
Certifications:
** - ACLS - AWHONN Intermediate - BLS - FHM - NRP
** Preferred
Skills:
