What You'll Do:

• Effectively support the Preventative Maintenance (PM) program with a goal of continually reducing unscheduled downtime.
• Analyze problems and interpret technical information necessary to make required repairs (troubleshooting of equipment issues)
• Perform daily inspection and maintenance on assigned equipment/area, including mechanical cleaning, lubrication, rebuild, installation, and removal
• Assist in lay out, assembly, and installation of piping and pumps associated with production, to include installation, repair, and replacement of gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment as instructed
• Operate, adjust, troubleshoot, and fix mechanical and electrical systems on equipment such as:
  Shakers, Gravities, Screw Conveyors, Elevators, Dry Ingredient Fillers, conveyors, code dater printers, palletizer robots, etc
• Assist in repair and maintenance of physical structure and utilities as instructed
• Maintain clean, safe and organized work environment always
• Follow all safety policies and procedures including but not limited to LOTO, confined space, hot work, and forklift operation
• Complete all assigned work orders within the time allotted. Maintain complete records of work performed using SAP, work orders and detailed logs and have good communication skills across all groups/departments
• Participate in Continuous Improvement, also provides suggestions to improve processes and participates on team projects

What You'll Bring:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; experience may be considered in lieu of education
• 2+ years' welding/fabrication experience and able to submit a welding sample if requested
• 2+ years' experience preferred as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment, or chemical/processing plant
• Knowledge in electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Ability to use mechanical tools to ensure safety and completion of tasks and assignments
• Ability to lift 50-80 lbs. Performs highly repetitive motions, stand for eight plus hours, talk, and hear
• Ability and willing to wear a full-face respirator
• Ability and willing to wear fall protection equipment
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
