Overview
An opportunity has arisen to join our Maintenance Team within the NHS Fife Central & North-East Fife Sector.
The role is based at Cameron Hospital, but staff will work across the Central & North East Fife Area.
Responsibilities- Installation and modifications to domestic electrical systems
- Air conditioning & air handling units
- Generators
- Boiler plants
- Fire alarms
- CCTV systems
- Building management systems
- Domestic cold & hot water systems
- Heating systems
Additional duties include work in other areas as required, ensuring compliance with relevant safety regulations.
Qualifications- Completed an appropriate recognised electrical apprenticeship
- Experience working with mechanical and plumbing disciplines
- Qualified to IEE Reg’s 18th Edition
- Relevant mechanical and plumbing qualifications
- Proficient with SHTM’s 03, 04, & 06 in addition to other healthcare technical manuals to achieve Competent Person qualification
- Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment
- Full driving licence
- Right to work in the UK (or eligibility to be sponsored)
Your salary depends on your level of qualifications, knowledge, and multi-trade abilities.
Hours & Working ConditionsAs of 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours with a corresponding hourly rate increase to ensure pay is not affected. Part‑time hours will be reduced pro‑rata.
