VIP Automotive Group is seeking a Mobile Service Technician / Automotive Technician to join our growing Service Department and support customers throughout the Long Island territory
.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Level C Automotive Technician looking to take the next step in their career while working in a professional, well-supported environment with a large customer base, strong support structure, manufacturer training, and opportunities for growth

The ideal candidate is dependable, customer-focused, organized, and comfortable performing light automotive repairs, recall work, software updates, and programming procedures in a mobile service environment.

$35,000–$75,000 per year

Maintain the Mobile Service vehicle in a clean, safe, organized, and road-ready condition

Properly stock and organize the Mobile Service vehicle with the parts, tools, equipment, and supplies needed for scheduled repairs

Communicate consistently with the Mobile Service Manager throughout the workday

Review and coordinate the daily service schedule with the Mobile Service Manager

Perform light factory recall repairs according to manufacturer specifications

Perform factory software flash updates and related programming procedures

Complete assigned repairs accurately, efficiently, and according to company and manufacturer standards

Provide professional, courteous, and knowledgeable service during every customer interaction

Maintain a high level of professionalism while representing VIP Automotive Group at customer locations

Follow all applicable safety procedures and manufacturer repair guidelines

Maintain accurate documentation of completed service work

This position is designed for a Level C Automotive Technician with an opportunity to develop additional manufacturer-specific skills.

Training opportunities may include:

Subaru training

Manufacturer service procedures and technical updates

Software flashing and vehicle programming procedures

Recall and light-repair training

Automotive service or repair experience preferred

Basic understanding of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures

Ability to perform light repairs and manufacturer recall work

Comfortable using automotive diagnostic and programming equipment

Strong organizational and time‑management skills

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Ability to work independently in a mobile service environment

Must have a clean, valid driver's license
