Position Summary

Salary Range includes base hourly rate plus package sales commission. As a Guest Service/Sales Associate at European Wax Center, you play a pivotal role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your upbeat and friendly demeanor, coupled with your sales acumen, ensures that every guest interaction is positive and memorable.

Responsibilities
  • Greet guests with a friendly and inviting demeanor, setting the tone for a positive experience.
  • Engage guests in meaningful conversations to understand their specific needs, preferences, and skincare goals.
  • Proactively educate guests on all of our wax pass options, current promotions, the benefits of waxing regularly and prebooking.
  • Be knowledgeable on all aspects of EWC, including our retail line.
  • Uphold Artemis Wax standards and protocols at all times.
  • Address guest inquiries, book reservations, and resolve concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain an organized and inviting front desk & lobby area, upholding brand cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment by assisting colleagues and sharing product knowledge.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay on top of brand knowledge and sales techniques.
Work Environment
  • Must be able to work effectively in stressful environments, communicate with others and accept constructive feedback from direct supervisors.
  • Must adapt to changes in activity frequently as the business requires.
  • Most work performed indoors; temperature is moderate and controlled.
  • Must be able to stand or sit at a desk for up to hours per day. Standing, walking, and sitting are required; length of time varies.
  • Must be able to maneuver between multiple functions occurring simultaneously with a well‑paced ability.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with clients, co‑workers, and management.
Qualifications
  • One year of related service or retail experience.
  • Strongly prefer previous sales experience.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, ensuring clear and effective interactions with guests.
  • Proficiency in point‑of‑sale systems and basic computer technology.
  • Ability to adapt to varying guest personalities and remain calm under pressure.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
