Replenishment Buyer
Location:
Levittown, PA - Warehouse - (SAF)
- Use MRP and legacy systems to execute the buying cycle for assigned suppliers, reviewing suggested items for purchase.
- Follow the Hardgoods Purchasing Guidelines and Standards, ensuring all buying cycles are completed consistently and processes are continuously improved.
- Place vendor orders on time and per standards, adhering to the Day in the Life procedure.
- Daily review of JDA/Blue Yonder loads for assigned vendors.
- Confirm all purchase orders are placed on time and within set guidelines, and expedite orders as necessary.
- Manage surplus inventory review and redeployment.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies with accounts payable and receiving discrepancies with Distribution Centers.
- Evaluate fill rates and days on hand for assigned suppliers and items, working with buying center management to improve levels.
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MRP reports for assigned suppliers and items.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 to 2 years of work experience in a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with vendors, management, and associates.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks independently and with strong attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to make decisions and follow guidelines.
- Proficient in entering and updating data in computer programs for at least 8 hours a day.
- Rapid learning capability.
- BS/BA in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in purchasing or inventory management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Knowledge of JDA/Blue Yonder, similar MRP systems, or SAP software.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to talk, hear, walk, sit, use hands, and reach with arms; able to stoop, kneel or crouch.
- Vision including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus.
