Pitney Bowes is hiring a Warehouse Operations Supervisor for the 3rd Shift at the Presort Services facility in Levittown, Pennsylvania.
Schedule:
Sunday to Thursday, 10:30PM – 8:00AM EST. Base salary range: $60,000 plus a 6% field bonus. Flexible vacation policy: no set amount of vacation per year; vacations are selected by coverage and open days. The role involves collaborating with the team to meet productivity standards and deliver high‑quality mail sorting services.
- Organize mail flow on the production floor by assigning workers and assessing volumes and type of mail based on staffing levels to meet postal deadlines.
- Manage production workers during the shift (hiring, training, performance appraisal, rewarding, disciplining).
- Enforce company policies, applicable laws, and TQM processes throughout the production area.
- Assist Warehouse Operations Manager in completing USPS and internal reports, job costing reports, and ensuring compliance with USPS postal regulations.
- Ensure clear communication between shifts and provide efficiency suggestions regarding equipment usage, working conditions, and employee motivation.
- Perform other assigned duties.
- Minimum one‑year supervisory experience in an area involving USPS requirements/regulations (presort, mailroom, related industries).
- Minimum two years of progressively responsible experience in a production or mailing industry environment.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and/or MS Access; basic knowledge of MS Word, Internet, and email.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs. (or current maximum allowed by state).
- Same physical requirements: walk, stand, stoop, bend 80% of the time (with or without accommodation).
