R Shipping and Handling Customer Service Representative (Open)

Levittown, PA - Management
- Provide exceptional customer support related to order fulfillment, shipping, and delivery inquiries.
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat regarding order status, shipping details, tracking information, and delivery issues.
- Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies, damaged goods, lost shipments, and other delivery-related problems in a timely and professional manner.
- Process returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Communicate proactively with customers about potential delays, backorders, or changes to their orders.
- Collaborate with internal departments, including warehousing, logistics, and sales, to ensure seamless order fulfillment and problem resolution.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions and resolutions in the CRM system.
- Provide customers with product information and assist with basic order placement when necessary.
- Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and contribute to process enhancements within shipping and handling operations.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Facilitate correction of Airgas DC shipping errors and return of hardgoods to Airgas DC, including filing of parcel and LTL claims.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1‑2 years of experience in a customer service role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and order management systems.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Working knowledge of shipping carriers (e.g., UPS, Fed Ex, USPS) and their tracking systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- Associate's degree.
- Experience with in a shipping, logistics, or e‑commerce environment.
