Elementary Principal (Job Description)

Job Summary

To use leadership and administrative skills to improve academic achievement for all K-5 students through leading, directing, supervising, and implementing the educational program within the building and maintaining an inclusive and effective learning climate in the building.

Certification Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with a valid PA teaching certification required.
  • Masters degree in Educational Leadership or Administration required.
  • Valid PA Principal K-12 certificate required.
  • 5-7 years of successful elementary teaching experience or experience as a counselor, psychologist, or social worker required.
  • 5-7 years of experience at the elementary level as an Administrator preferred.
Salary Range

$ -  (based on experience) per year as defined in the Act 93 Compensation Plan.

Hiring Timeline

First Round Interviews

  • Virtual interviews February 27th to March 3rd

Second Round Interviews

  • March 9th

Third Round Interviews

  • March 16th

Fourth Round Interviews

  • March 19th
