Workdays: 4 days a week (Tuesday-Friday)
Hourly Rate: $21.96 per hour
Effective Date: 9.23.26
Hours: 9:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.
Job SummaryThe Preschool Paraprofessional provides support for the Preschool Academy program by assisting with the supervision, care, and instructional support of preschool-aged children. The paraprofessional works collaboratively with the Preschool Academy teacher to ensure a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment while supporting the unique needs of both preschool students and high school students participating in the Education Pathway program.
Applicants Must BeHighly Qualified as defined by federal standards, which requires either two completed years of study at an institution of higher education, an associate’s (or higher) degree, or PDE Highly Qualified certification (Para educator Credential of Competency). CPR and First Aid certifications are required, however CPR and First Aid training can be provided.
