Job Summary:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction for all business and financial operations of the school district in alignment with the district’s strategic plan and related initiatives. The Chief Financial Officer ensures that all financial decisions and operations support the district’s educational mission and are conducted with integrity, efficiency, and transparency. Responsibilities include leading the preparation, control, and reporting of the annual general fund and capital budgets, as well as future year operating and capital budget projections.
The CFO is responsible for the management of financial services, facilities, transportation, purchasing, and payroll.
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or other related field required
- Master's degree in Business Administration preferred
- 3-5 Years Experience in business administration and in a public- school district
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite Software and financial accounting software
- Experience working with diverse stakeholder groups
