JOB DESCRIPTIONJob Summary :
Work collaboratively under the direction of the mental health therapist to meet the therapeutic goals identified for youth in the partial program. This includes conducting individual and group sessions as well as providing documentation of all interactions.
Essential Functions:
- Regular attendance and reliable on-site presence.
- Work collaboratively under the direction of the Mental Health Therapist.
- Co-facilitate group therapy including social skills, anger management, recreation, art, and other topics/modalities appropriate to meet the needs of participants.
- Co-facilitate family therapy and maintain ongoing communication with family.
- Develop treatment plans and discharge plans.
- Identify supports in the community and refer for other services as appropriate.
- Complete daily progress notes and other documentation as needed.
- Actively communicate and collaborate with other agencies and school personnel.
- Collect and document data as directed by supervisor and/or director of treatment.
- Crisis management.
- Assist Mental Health Therapist to prepare and obtain authorizations for treatment from the insurance companies.
- Assist Mental Health Therapist to ensure all prescriptions are up to date and complete prior authorizations for medication as required by insurance companies.
- Communicate and collaborate with billing staff.
- Assist Mental Health Therapist to prepare charts and other documents for state and insurance company inspections.
- Ongoing focus on quality improvement and compliance with regulations and requirements.
This position requires regular onsite presence and includes primarily sedentary work with occasional active physical duties in an office or educational support environment. Employees are regularly required tosit, communicate effectively, use hands for computer, telephone, and office equipment operation, and perform repetitive hand and wrist movements associated with typing, filing, and data entry. Frequent activities may include walking, standing, reaching, bending, and moving throughout office, school, or program locations.
Employees may occasionally lift, carry, or move office materials, files, supplies, or equipment weighing up to 25 pounds. The position may also requiremaintainingand organizing records,operating standard office technology, and supporting daily operational or program needs.
This role requires the ability to communicate and interact effectively with staff, students, families, vendors, and community members in a professional and supportive manner. Employees may work in environments with moderate noise levels and frequent interruptions while managing multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
Specific vision abilitiesrequiredfor this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Employees must also be able to hear and interpret verbal communication, phone conversations, alarms, and other environmental sounds related to workplace safety and operations.
Regular attendance, dependable onsite presence, and the ability to perform the essential functions of the position are required.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:This is a full-time, 220-day calendar position. Days and hours of work are generally Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; however, hours may vary based on district assignments, program needs, meetings,training, or organizational priorities. Occasional evening and/or weekend work may berequiredas jobduties indemand.
