Replenishment Buyer (Open)
Location: Levittown, PA - Warehouse - (SAF)
Type: Hybrid, 3 days in office
Job Description SummaryResponsible for reviewing assigned suppliers and items to replenish stock into multiple distribution centers to maintain and improve service levels within established inventory levels and planning guidelines.
Responsibilities- Execute established buying cycle for assigned suppliers, reviewing suggested items for purchase using both an MRP and legacy computer system.
- Apply buying processes outlined in the Hardgoods Purchasing Guidelines and Standards to ensure buying cycles are followed and processes are continuously improved.
- Adhere to a day‑in‑the‑life procedure, placing vendor orders on time and per standards.
- Review JDA/Blue Yonder loads for assigned vendors daily.
- Confirm all purchase orders are placed on time and within set guidelines.
- Expedite purchase orders and update information within set guidelines.
- Review and redeploy surplus inventory.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and coordinate with accounts payable as needed.
- Work with distribution centers to resolve receiving discrepancies.
- Evaluate fill rates and days on hand for assigned suppliers and items, working with buying‑center management to improve levels.
- Manage daily, weekly, and monthly MRP reports for assigned suppliers and items.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 to 2 years of work experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for outreach to vendors, management, and associates.
- Proficiency in data entry and continuous data updates using a computer program 8 hours a day.
- BS/BA in supply chain management, finance, accounting, or a similar discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in a purchasing or inventory management environment.
- Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with Google applications (Sheets, Drive, Gmail).
- Knowledge of JDA/Blue Yonder, similar MRP systems, or SAP software.
- Strong customer service skills and experience.
