Maintenance Supervisor

Our client, an industry-leading manufacturer, recently hired us for a Maintenance Supervisor search near Levittown, PA. This position will apply engineering principles, troubleshooting, and problem-solving to resolve operational issues and enhance equipment reliability. The role involves supervising technicians, craftsmen, and planners to maintain mechanical and electrical systems, maximizing efficiencies in a manufacturing environment. Success requires fostering team collaboration, respect, and innovation to drive individual, team, and operational goals.

• Administer safety programs, ensuring a safe work environment with proper housekeeping.
• Supervise union employees, vendors, and contractors while interpreting specifications, blueprints, and job orders to assign duties.
• Coordinate and direct maintenance crews for repairs, preventative maintenance, and diagnosing equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain inventories of spares, develop preventative maintenance programs, and implement cost-saving strategies to improve reliability and product quality.
• Perform administrative tasks including crew scheduling, reporting, safety conversations, and compliance documentation.

• Minimum 3 years supervising crews in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including extended days, weekends, and holidays.
• Preferred: BS/Associate degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent; experience supervising unionized employees or military leadership.
