Position will cover both STR Bucks County Outpatient in Levittown and Cedar Creek Residential in Warminster, PA.

Weekend availability required.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for the health and safety of all clients. This position assesses and prescribes appropriate medications as well as assess medical and psychiatric issues/concerns and makes appropriate referrals. This position consults with the treatment team on primary diagnosis and co-occurring issues.

Relationships and Contacts

Within the organization: Establish and maintain productive working relationships with peers and accounting team members throughout STR Behavioral Health and affiliated facilities.

Outside the organization: Establish and maintain productive working relationships with third party vendors, as necessary.

Position Responsibilities

Minimum Requirements

Education and Experience

Certified in the state of Pennsylvania as a CRNP or Physician's Assistant. A minimum of 2 years' experience in Detoxification and/or Residential Setting, preferably in substance abuse or mental health. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A willingness to work with a clinical team to make recommendations and implement strategies that will benefit clients. Willingness to take calls during after hours days and times.

All necessary requirements must be met to practice adult psychiatry in Pennsylvania.

Additional Requirements

• Position requires incumbent to have a valid driver's license
• Clearance of TB test, and any other mandatory state/federal requirements.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
