We are looking for a precision-driven Master Electrician to serve as one of our technical experts for complex electrical systems across NJ. In this role, the focus is entirely on high-level installation, sophisticated diagnostics, and ensuring every wire turned meets the highest standards of the National Electrical Code (NEC). If you prefer being "on the tools" and solving the problems others can't, this is your seat.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Execution:
Perform complex electrical installations and repairs in Commercial/Residential environments with zero supervision. - Code Authority:
Act as the final word on NEC compliance and NJ state amendments for all assigned projects. - Advanced Diagnostics:
Use specialized equipment to troubleshoot intermittent faults, harmonics, and power quality issues. - Permit & Documentation:
Manage the technical side of permit applications and ensure all work passes municipal inspections on the first visit. - System Integration:
Install and calibrate advanced systems, including [EV infrastructure, solar inverters, or industrial PLC systems].
- Licensure:
Active New Jersey Master Electrician’s License is mandatory (verified by the NJ Board of Examiners of Electrical Contractors). - Expertise:
Extensive hands‑on experience with three-phase power, service entrances, and complex circuitry. - Code Fluency:
Thorough, up-to-date knowledge of the NEC and local NJ variations. - Physical Ability:
Comfortable working in specialized environments, including bucket trucks, confined spaces, or heights, as required by the project. - Documentation:
Ability to read and red‑line complex blueprints and site plans accurately.
- Advanced proficiency with power analyzers, meggers, and thermal imaging cameras.
- Deep understanding of grounding and bonding requirements for specialized sensitive equipment.
- Knowledge of NJ‑specific energy codes and utility requirements (e.g., PSE&G, JCP&L standards).
Pay: $80-125k per year, reflecting your status as a Master of the trade.
