Role Description

This is a full-time Diesel Mechanic role based in Levittown, PA. Day-to-day responsibilities include inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel engines and heavy equipment used on residential and commercial construction sites. The role involves performing routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and ensuring vehicles and equipment remain safe, reliable, and compliant with company standards. The Diesel Mechanic will maintain service records, coordinate repairs with supervisors, and communicate clearly with project teams to minimize downtime.

Some on-site work at job locations and the company yard will be required, along with adherence to safety protocols and company procedures.

Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Diesel Mechanics and Heavy Equipment repair, including diagnostics and troubleshooting.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Vehicle Maintenance and Equipment Maintenance for construction vehicles and machinery.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Preventive Maintenance, including scheduled inspections, fluid changes, and component replacement.
  • Experience working in construction, trucking, or related industries is beneficial.
  • Ability to read and interpret service manuals, technical diagrams, and work orders.
  • Strong safety awareness and adherence to OSHA and company safety standards.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with supervisors, operators, and other team members.
  • Relevant technical certification, trade school training, or equivalent hands‑on experience with diesel engines and heavy equipment is preferred.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy components and work in varying outdoor conditions as required.
