Creche Assistant

Overview

Job Summary:

Help establish a new creche within our inclusive Luxury spa, located in Hertfordshire. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant to support our childcare team. The ideal candidate will assist in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children, ensuring their developmental needs are met. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to early childhood education and gain valuable experience in childcare management.

• Lead in daily activities and programme planning
• Supervise children during play, meal times, and rest periods
• Assist with organising educational activities and age-appropriate games
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to health and safety standards
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members
• Help with administrative tasks such as record keeping and scheduling
• Support behavioural management strategies in line with organisational policies
• Manage booking schedule for the children

• Experience with children, childcare, nursery work, or early childhood education is highly desirable
• Strong management and leadership skills to guide and support children effectively
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Passion for working with children and fostering their development
• Organised, responsible, and attentive to detail

• EYFS and Safeguarding knowledge
• Experience in setting up Creches
• Pediatric First Aid qualified
