Senior Vehicle Technician / Diagnostic Technician
East Hoathly, East Sussex
Basic salary up to £50,000, depending on experience
Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm
No weekends
Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician who enjoys diagnosing complex faults and carrying out a variety of repairs?
ACS Automotive Recruitment Consultancy is looking for a Senior Vehicle Technician / Diagnostic Technician to join a well-established, family-run independent garage in East Hoathly.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician from a main dealer or independent workshop who wants to work as part of a small, friendly team. The garage is looking to recruit as soon as possible.
The role- Diagnosing complex electrical and mechanical faults
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs
- Undertaking timing belt and chain replacements, engine repairs and other major mechanical work
- Using diagnostic equipment and technical information to identify and resolve faults
- Completing vehicle inspections and identifying any additional work required
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and efficiency
- Previous experience as a Senior Vehicle Technician, Diagnostic Technician or highly experienced Vehicle Technician
- Strong diagnostic and electrical fault-finding skills
- Confidence working independently and tackling complex repairs
- Experience gained within a main dealer or independent garage
- A methodical approach to problem-solving and pride in the quality of your work
- A reliable, professional attitude and the ability to work as part of a team
Experience with any vehicle brand will be considered. Relevant qualifications are desirable, but practical experience and diagnostic ability are key.
