Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description

Robert Half has partnered with a growing services company located in the Central/South Delaware area on their search for an articulate, Accounts Receivable Specialist who is comfortable working with approval workflows and documentation standards. In this role, you will oversee the collection of outstanding payments, prepare and submit customer invoices, post remittances to customer accounts, monitor AR aging accounts, process deposits and credit card payments, assist with invoices disputes, review credit memos, and update customer accounts as needed.

The ideal Accounts Receivable Specialist should have a flair for numbers, excellent research abilities, thorough communication skills, and an expertise at time management.

Major Responsibilities

· Investigate and review account discrepancies

· Generate collections correspondence to customers

· Maintain and update customer accounts

· Submit ACH payments and credit card payments

· Prepare monthly financial statements

· Monitor cash flow

· Research and analysis documentation

· Assist with administrative activities

· Track compliance documentation and waivers

· Revenue Recognition Support

Requirements

The ideal Accounts Receivable Specialist will preferably have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance (NOT required).

Other requirements for the Accounts Receivable Specialist role include and are not limited to:

· 3+ years of AR experience in a multi-project or services environment

· Must have strong Quick Books Online or  experience

· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (lookups, pivots)

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
