As a Surveyor, you will manage both in-office and field tasks, supervise technical staff, and ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance. You’ll play a key role in project management, client consultations, and regulatory presentations.
Responsibilities – What you will do
- Supervise survey computations, field work, data collection, and CAD drafting
- Stamp and sign surveys under your direct supervision
- Consult with clients on surveying issues and project details
- Provide guidance to field crews and technical staff
- Oversee preparation of survey plans and flood elevation certificates
- Conduct deed and map research and review
- Represent the company at local and state regulatory hearings
Qualifications - What We’re Looking For
- Registered Professional Land Surveyor license required
- B.S. or A.A. in a technical field or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience in surveying
- Ability to interpret construction plans, record maps, and boundary procedures
- Strong knowledge of survey computations and accuracy standards
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Ability to work under extreme conditions when necessary
