Weekend Activities Aide

Excelcare at (LOCATION) is seeking a compassionate and energetic Activities Aide to join our team for the weekends
! In this role, you will help plan and facilitate engaging recreational, social, and therapeutic activities that enhance the quality of life for our residents. The ideal candidate is creative, patient, and enjoys working with seniors in a supportive, team-oriented environment. • Organize and lead recreational activities such as games, crafts, music sessions, and group events
• Encourage resident involvement, adapting programs to meet various levels of ability
• Provide assistance with transporting residents to activities or outings
• Promote a cheerful atmosphere that supports emotional and social well-being
• Document participation and feedback to support program planning

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in long-term care or working with older adults preferred
• Energetic, personable, and enthusiastic about making a difference
• Excellent communication skills and a team-first mindset
• Physical ability to assist residents as needed and support activity setup
