Full-time CNA/Resident Assistant

The Resident Assistant is responsible for providing day-to-day assistance to residents and ensuring their well‑being and safety.

• Assists residents with activities of daily living
• Engages residents in life skills and life enrichment activities
• Help residents maintain independence, promoting the dignity and safety of each resident
• Responds to call bells promptly
• Notifies supervisor of resident change in condition
• Serves and collects food trays
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years of age
• Direct Care Worker Certification or Nurse Aide Certification a plus
• Previous experience working with a senior population

• Ability to communicate effectively speaking the primary language of the residents
• Demonstrated customer service skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Organizational and time management skills
• Good judgement, problem solving and decision‑making skills
• Ability to remain calm in difficult situations
