Housekeeper; Dogfish Inn - PT Reg

We are currently hiring a Part Time Housekeeper at Dogfish Inn.

As a year-round Part Time Reg Housekeeper, you will help create clean, comfortable, and welcoming spaces that make every guest feel  will play a key role in maintaining guest rooms, common areas, and property facilities while supporting a positive guest experience through exceptional attention to detail and friendly service. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, and values teamwork and flexibility.

• Clean and prepare guest rooms daily, including making beds, laundering linens, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, and completing arrival and stay-over room service.
• Clean and disinfect guest bathrooms, including toilets, showers, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures.
• Stock guest rooms with amenities, beverages, linens, towels, paper goods, glassware, and other required supplies.
• Operate onsite laundry equipment, manage the daily flow of linens, maintain organized storage areas, and monitor inventory levels.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of lobbies, offices, corridors, stairwells, and other shared guest spaces.
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles throughout the property and keep outdoor walkways and entryways free of debris, sand, leaves, and other hazards.
• Perform light maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, adjusting blinds, tightening fixtures, and assisting with minor property upkeep.
• Follow established cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and proper handling practices for cleaning chemicals, equipment, and power tools.
• Provide friendly and professional guest service by responding promptly and courteously to guest requests and needs.
• Work in a fast-paced hospitality environment that requires standing, bending, lifting, repetitive motion, outdoor work in varying weather conditions, and flexible availability for weekends, holidays, peak occupancy periods, and room turnover days.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of housekeeping experience in a hotel, inn, rental property, hospitality, or similar environment.
• Experience cleaning guest rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and laundry facilities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently maintain cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team-focused environment.
• Ability to safely operate housekeeping equipment, laundry equipment, cleaning chemicals, and power tools.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, walk, lift, and perform repetitive physical activities throughout a work shift.

• Experience in boutique hotels, inns, resorts, vacation rentals, or similar hospitality settings.
• Experience managing linen inventories and supply organization.

Level: 10

In accordance with pay transparency laws the pay rate for this role if hired is $18 per hour.
