Rn​/Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit - Per Diem

Join Our Life-Saving Team as an ICU Registered Nurse! Are you a compassionate and skilled nurse ready to make a significant impact in critical care? We are seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team and provide exceptional care to our patients in their most critical moments.

This Is a Per Diem Position (minimum Requirements):

• 1 shift per pay period (12 hours)
• 1 weekend shift per month
• 1 summer and 1 winter holiday

Responsibilities

• Facilitates, implements, and evaluates the Patient Plan of Care and outcomes in collaboration with the health care team.
• Technical Skills.
• Critical Thinking.
• Prioritization.
• Equipment Operation.
• Initiative.
• Evaluates test results reported immediately.
• Assess patient safety facts and identifies those patients requiring specific safety devices. Documents patient assessments accurately and correctly within the specified time at admission, transfer, and discharge.
• Collects adequate and correct blood/urine specimens from patients as ordered by physicians, using proper technique and equipment.
• Correctly labels specimens and processes.
• Ensures appropriate delivery of specimens to the lab via courier or specimen pick up from outside agencies.
• Educational needs of patient. Documents assessment on multidisciplinary form and modifies as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year Critical Care RN experience required

• Knowledge And Experience With Electronic Health Records

Credentials

• RN - Registered Nurse
• BLS - Basic Life Saving certification
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• NIH - Stroke Certification

Education

• RN Diploma/RN Graduate Program
