Overview
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) at New York‑Presbyterian / Hudson Valley deliver patient‑centered anesthesia for a range of surgical, cardiac cath lab, and obstetric procedures. The role focuses on high‑quality care, team building, flexible scheduling, and shared clinical decision‑making within a collegial environment.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate all aspects of clinical care to ensure high‑quality, patient‑centered services.
- Manage staffing needs and provide staff development opportunities.
- Plan activities, recognition, and training sessions to increase engagement and cohesion among the CRNA team.
- Deliver general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care for scheduled and emergency procedures.
- Primary work on B & B cases, heavy orthopedic, and obstetric cases.
- Work primarily on 16/24‑hour shifts as a full‑time position.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.
- Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
- Master of Science in Nursing.
- Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain).
- BCLS Certification.
- ACLS Certification.

Other InformationAll roles require on‑site presence; employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse travel expenses.
