Excelcare at Lewes is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Unit Manager to join our leadership team in our skilled nursing facility. The Unit Manager plays a vital role in overseeing the daily clinical operations of a nursing unit, ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and strong support for nursing staff. This position is ideal for an LPN who is passionate about leadership, teamwork, and providing compassionate, resident-centered care.

- Oversee the daily clinical operations of the assigned nursing unit
- Supervise, support, and mentor LPNs and CNAs on the unit
- Ensure residents receive high-quality nursing care in accordance with care plans and physician orders
- Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
- Complete and review documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in care plan meetings and collaborate with other departments to support resident needs
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Address staff concerns and help maintain a positive, team-oriented work environment
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in DE
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred
- Leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
- Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care
