In the Home Infusion space, Coastal I.V. is growing and aiming to fill the gap in home infusion care in our area. Our expansion has created a PRN opportunity for a Home Infusion Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities and Duties- Attention to Detail
- Use excellent nursing skills to observe, interpret and monitor patient’s condition and notify appropriate personnel of any changes, acting as the patient advocate - Interpersonal Skills
- Working collaboratively with an exceptional team to help meet positive client care outcomes - Communication
- Discuss health care with patients and listen to their concerns, relay to the nursing team - IV therapy
- Must have exceptional IV Skills - Compliance
- Assure proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws.
- Must Have 3 years Hospital Experience.
- Current and unrestricted RN license
- At least 3 years’ experience as an RN, ideally with some home care experience, must possess exceptional IV skills
- A Bachelor of Science in nursing, an associate degree in nursing, or have graduated from an accredited and approved nursing program
- Proof of eligibility to work in the US
- Successfully pass annual competency checks
- Clean background and criminal record and must pass drug test
Required to stand, walk, sit, talk and hear; required to use hands to operate vehicles and office equipment; must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs; specific vision requirements for this job include: close, distance and peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
