Job Overview

Allstate is looking for an outside insurance sales consultant to drive local sales growth through proactive prospecting, lead generation, networking, and relationship building within the community. The role involves identifying insurance gaps, presenting tailored solutions, and building strong referral relationships.

• Prospect and generate leads via networking, referrals, events, and outreach.
• Build genuine relationships and become a trusted resource in local market.
• Conduct comprehensive needs assessments and recommend a mix of insurance products.
• Identify gaps in existing coverage and provide customized solutions.
• Engage in local events such as car shows, open houses, and home expos.
• Represent Allstate’s mission with professionalism, care, and credibility.
• Develop a personalized marketing plan to drive local visibility.
• Stay current on industry and marketing trends to adapt strategy effectively.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of insurance sales experience.
• Active Personal Lines or P&C license.
• Active Life & Health license (or separate Life license).
• Skilled at leveraging personal/professional connections to grow pipeline.
• Passion for relationship‑building, networking, and community engagement.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and follow‑up skills.
• Reliable internet connection and transportation for local travel.
• Availability to train full‑time (9 AM–5:30 PM CT) for the first three weeks.

• Total target compensation: $80,000–$120,000 per year (base + uncapped incentives).
• Base salary range: $40,000–$60,000.
• Performance‑based incentives aligned with productivity (not guaranteed; governed by Allstate’s bonus plan).
• Connectivity reimbursement stipend.
• Background check required.
• Licensed hires may receive licensing fee reimbursements, capped at $400 per license (limit exceptions).
