Our Engineering team is looking for a Maintenance Coordinator
. We are looking for a dynamic and driven candidate who is interested in joining a fast-growing global company in the automotive sector.
The Maintenance Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of facilities and equipment within an organization. This position is responsible for planning, scheduling, and overseeing maintenance activities to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of assets. The Maintenance Coordinator acts as a liaison between maintenance teams, vendors, and management to ensure timely and cost-effective repairs and preventive maintenance.
By effectively managing resources and prioritizing tasks, this role contributes to a safe and efficient working environment. Ultimately, the Maintenance Coordinator ensures that all maintenance operations align with organizational goals and compliance standards.
1. New Plant Utility & Construction Management
- Planning & Design:
Lead the technical review and document preparation for the electrical and utility systems (water, compressed air, gas, etc.) during the plant construction phase. - Construction Management:
Oversee on-site electrical construction progress, quality, and cost control; review shop drawings to ensure compliance with US local codes (e.g., NEC) and Minth Group standards. - Municipal Coordination:
Interface with local municipal authorities (power, water, gas) to manage technical requirements and connection schedules, ensuring controllable energy supply timelines. - Acceptance & Handover:
Organize final inspection and commissioning of electrical systems; archive construction contracts, technical drawings, and quality documents to ensure compliance with government and company regulations.
2. Equipment Electrical Maintenance System Setup
- System Development:
Establish a predictive/preventive maintenance (PPM) system for new plant electrical equipment; develop equipment inspection, lubrication, and repair work standards. - Team Building:
Participate in the recruitment and training of the local US electrical technical team; establish shift schedules and emergency response procedures. - Spare Parts Management:
Plan key spare parts inventory lists; establish safety stock levels to minimize downtime risk.
3. Automation & Control System Management
- PLC/HMI Maintenance:
Proficient in mainstream PLC systems (Siemens, Mitsubishi, or Rockwell); lead electrical fault diagnosis and program optimization for production equipment. - New Equipment Integration:
Collaborate with the ME team on the installation, commissioning, and acceptance of new production lines; issue electrical-related technical documentation.
4. Compliance, Safety & Energy Management
- Safety Compliance:
Lead the development and training of electrical safety procedures (e.g., Energy Isolation, LOTO), ensuring compliance with OSHA standards. - Energy Management:
Track and analyze new plant production energy consumption; develop energy-saving solutions to reduce operational costs. - Government Interface:
Coordinate with government agencies for inspections and reporting (special equipment, environmental, safety, etc.).
5. Project & Budget Management
- Budgeting:
Assist in preparing the annual electrical department budget (CAPEX & OPEX) and monitor execution. - Contractor Management:
Evaluate and manage external electrical contractors, ensuring work quality and safety.
- Education:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field. - Minimum 8 years of equipment electrical management experience in manufacturing.
- Must have at least 2 years of direct experience in new plant/new line utility layout and construction (Required).
