Maintenance Assistant

Position Overview

Apply for the Maintenance Assistant (Part‑time) role at Adams Place
. This position offers pay of $15 to $19 per hour, depending on experience. The role involves personal contact with residents and requires a high level of competency and efficiency in all aspects of maintenance operations.

• Heavy duty cleaning, light grounds care, and maintenance of institutional equipment.
• Keep accurate records of work performed.
• Coordinate work with other departments to avoid disrupting patient care or normal business functions.
• Be on call for emergencies.
• Perform or direct duties related to maintenance of grounds, parking lots, driveways, etc., including gardening, landscaping, cleaning‑up, snow removal (excluding tasks performed under service contract).

• Maintenance experience preferred (not required).
• H‑VAC experience preferred (not required).
• High school graduate or graduate of a technical school.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals; knowledge of local codes, ordinances, and safety regulations.
