Overview
Support engineering and production teams in a manufacturing plant that assembles metal door frames. This hands-on role focuses on equipment setup, robot adjustments, layout changes, and troubleshooting to improve efficiency and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Support plant layout changes to improve workflow
- Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot production equipment and robotic systems (ABB/Yaskawa)
- Create and update work instructions and engineering documentation
- Help troubleshoot production line issues to reduce downtime
- Analyze line performance and recommend process improvements
- Manage spare parts inventory and support material/tool purchasing
- Work closely with production and maintenance teams on continuous improvement and quality initiatives
- 2–8 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment
- Experience with ABB or Yaskawa robots (operation or troubleshooting)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and technical documents
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Forklift experience preferred (or willingness to be certified)
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
