As an LPN at NHC Health Care Oakwood, you will play an important role in providing high-quality, compassionate care to our patients.
- Provide nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Monitor patients and communicate changes in condition to the appropriate members of the care team.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Prioritize patient care needs and help coordinate an efficient workflow.
- Follow current standards of nursing practice and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
- Use sound judgment and problem-solving skills to support quality patient care.
- Communicate compassionately with patients, families, and fellow team members.
- Help create a positive, supportive environment for our patients and partners.
- Current Tennessee Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Compassion for serving the geriatric population
- Positive attitude and team-focused approach
We also welcome Graduate Nurses (GNs) and Graduate Practical Nurses (GPNs) who are beginning their nursing careers.
