Role summary:
The Technician, Facility Services, HVAC, is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems and related building equipment to ensure optimal facility operations. This role involves interpreting technical documentation, performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical and control issues, and adhering to safety and regulatory standards. The technician collaborates with management and facility partners to coordinate service activities, maintain accurate records, and support operational efficiency.

This position requires effective communication, adherence to company protocols, and participation in on-call rotations to address facility needs beyond regular hours.

They collaborate with suppliers and vendors to maintain optimal equipment performance and support continuous improvement for Exterior Services and Landscaping projects. What you'll do:

• InstallHVACsystems,ductwork,control components,andrelatedbuildingequipmentfollowingtechnicaldocumentationandcodes.
• Configureandcalibratebuildingautomationsystems,directdigitalcontrols,andlow-ambientHVACapplicationstomeetstandards.
• Diagnoseandresolvemechanical,electrical,andcontrolissuesaffectingHVACandfacilitysystems.
• Performpreventivemaintenance,inspections,andrepairstoensuresystemoperationandreducedowntime.
• Maintainaccuraterecordsofmaintenance,inspections,parts usage,andworkordersusingdigitaltools.
• Adheretosafetyprotocols,OSHA standards,andcompanypoliciesduringallserviceactivities.
• Communicateeffectivelywithfacilityoperatorsandmanagementregardingserviceneeds.
• Joinon-call rotations,manageservicecallswithinassignedregions,includingsafevehicleoperation.

What you'll bring:

• Proven experience installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems, ductwork, and control components.
• Ability to interpret technical schematics, layout plans, and documentation to ensure accurate installations.
• Skilled in configuring and calibrating building automation and direct digital control systems.
• Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic capabilities for HVAC equipment and facility systems.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and adherence to safety protocols during all service activities.
• Proficient in performing preventive maintenance and system inspections to optimize equipment performance.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with facility operators and management.
• Competence in using digital tools for work order management, scheduling, and documentation.
