At Mayfield Early Education Sydenham we are searching for a highly experienced, efficient and driven Centre Manager to guide our team and rebuild this Centre to be the best it can be – where every child feels safe, valued, and inspired to learn.

• Lead and support a dedicated team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace.
• Ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations, maintaining high standards of child safety and wellbeing.
• Implement the Centre’s vision and philosophy, consistently enhancing the learning environment.
• Drive continuous improvement of programs, processes and facilities in line with EYLF, NQS and Child Safe Standards.
• Serve as a role model for professional conduct, communication and organisational excellence.
• Build strong relationships with families and the local community, promoting the Centre’s values.

• Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Bachelor equivalent in Early Childhood Education.
• Valid WWCC and current First Aid or CPR Certificate.
• Knowledge of Child Safe Standards, EYLF, and NQS.
• Training in child protection, Red Nose and food safety (or willingness to obtain).
• Exceptional communication, organisational and leadership skills.
• A drive to rebuild and grow a thriving Centre.
• Proactive, collaborative spirit with a passion for excellence in early education.
• Previous experience in a Centre Manager role is a must.
