Early Years Nursery Apprentice – Sydenham (SE26)

We have a fantastic opportunity for you to earn while you learn in a supportive nursery setting in Sydenham.

Location: Sydenham, South East London (SE26)

Job Type: Apprenticeship – Early Years Practitioner

Qualifications:

• Unqualified? Work towards a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner qualification
• Level 2 qualified? Progress and work towards your Level 3 Early Years qualification

Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday)

• Support and care for children aged 0–5 in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment
• Assist with daily routines including play activities, mealtimes, and personal care
• Observe, support, and record children’s development
• Work closely with experienced nursery practitioners and your assigned mentor
• Complete coursework and training as part of your apprenticeship programme

• At least 6 months’ experience working in a nursery setting
• A genuine passion for working with young children
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• A willingness to learn and complete your qualification
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Reliable, caring, and enthusiastic approach

• Hands‑on experience in a supportive early years setting
• A nationally recognised Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
• Ongoing mentorship and professional development
• Career progression opportunities within early years education
