Overnight travel is company-paid and includes lodging and per diem when required.

Sines Construction is seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Laborer to support a range of railroad construction, maintenance, and repair projects, as well as related construction services throughout Idaho, Washington, and Oregon. Work may include track construction, crossings, asphalt paving, and support of dump and pup truck operations.
This is a hands-on role requiring physical labor, attention to safety, and flexibility for travel and overnight work.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Perform general labor duties in support of railroad construction, maintenance, and repair projects
- Assist with track-related work, including track design support, crane rail areas, and thermit welding preparation
- Support crossing projects, including asphalt, concrete, and plastic crossings
- Assist with asphalt paving, seal coating, and striping operations
- Load, unload, and handle materials, tools, and equipment
- Assist with site preparation, setup, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely
- Follow all company safety policies, railroad safety requirements, and job-site safety rules
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Travel to various job sites, including overnight assignments when required
- Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor environments, including railroad job sites
- Willingness to travel for work, including overnight stays
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Prior railroad, construction, or heavy labor experience
- Familiarity with construction tools and equipment
Physical Requirements
- Outdoor construction and railroad environments with varying weather conditions
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying
- Physically demanding work requiring stamina and strong safety awareness
