As a Scale House Attendant, you will serve as one of the first points of contact for customers entering and exiting our facility. This role is responsible for supporting daily operations by processing customer transactions, maintaining accurate records, assisting customers, and working closely with the Office Manager and yard team to ensure a positive customer experience. We are looking for someone who is reliable, organized, customer-focused, and committed to our Fast, Accurate, and Friendly approach to service.
Whatyou'll do
- Greet customers professionally and provide outstanding customer service
- Assist customers with questions regarding materials, procedures, and transactions
- Process customer transactions and maintain accurate records
- Enter information into company systems accurately and efficiently
- File and organize paperwork and daily documentation
- Support reporting and recordkeeping activities
- Communicate effectively with office staff and yard personnel
- Help maintain efficient customer flow throughout the facility
- Assist with office projects and administrative tasks as needed
- Support company safety initiatives and follow company policies and procedures
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
- Assist other departments when business needs require support
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer and office software proficiency
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Previous office, cashier, customer service, or scale operation experience preferred
- Reliable, organized, and team-oriented
- Ability to work effectively with customers, coworkers, and management
- Commitment to providing a positive customer experience and supporting company goals
- Personal Leave Accrual
Monday through Friday
Compensation Structure$20.00 - $22.00 per hour, DOE
