Position: Junior Architect / Designer

Studio AsA is searching diligently for a skilled Junior Architect to join our team! In this position, you will be responsible for planning and designing building’s interiors and Architecture while keeping in mind the needs of the project.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in Concept Development:
    Collaborate with senior designers to develop creative and functional design concepts for residential, commercial, or hospitality projects.
  • Create Design Presentations:
    Prepare design presentations, mood boards, and material samples to communicate design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
  • Prepare Drawings and Layouts:
    Assist in creating floor plans, elevations, and 3D models using design software (AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Revit, etc.).
  • Material and Product Selection:
    Research and source materials, furniture, and finishes that align with the project’s design vision and client’s preferences.
  • Site Visits and Measurements:
    Conduct site visits to measure spaces, assess conditions, and gather necessary data for design planning and implementation.
  • Assist with Project Coordination:
    Support senior designers with project management tasks, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
  • Maintain Design Documentation:
    Organize and maintain design files, including drawings, specifications, and product samples for reference.
  • Stay Current on Design Trends:
    Continuously research and stay updated on interior design trends, new products, materials, and technologies to bring fresh ideas to projects.
  • Collaboration and Team Support:
    Work closely with other team members, including designers, architects, and engineers, to ensure seamless project execution.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, ideally with an internship or previous experience
  • Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketch Up, and related software
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills
  • Design and problem-solving skills as well as an appreciation of, and sensitivity to, architectural design intent
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
  • M.Arch or M.Des () is preferred
  • B. Arch or

    B.Des () degree Mandate
  • 2 to 3+ years of experience
