Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

• Work 10-hour day shifts Friday through Monday
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, judgment and leadership in laboratory technology practice
• Responsible for efficient planning, directing and accurate provision of all laboratory testing in assigned area
• Must have 5 years recent experience as a Medical Technologist
• ASCP certification as a Medical Technologist required
• BLS certification through American Heart Association required
• Experience required in blood bank, MTS gel & tube methods
• Must have experience with Beckman Coulter hematology (520 and 690)
• Experience required with manual differential, body fluid cell count and diff procedures
• Must have experience with Werfen Top coagulation instrumentation
• Experience with urine microscopic procedures required
• Practice in accordance with laboratory policies, procedures, regulatory standards and recognized testing techniques
