Travel Medical Technologist

Job Description & Requirements

Med Pro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a Travel Medical Technologist for a position in Lewiston, Idaho. The assignment begins on 03/16/2026 and lasts 13 weeks (40 hours per week, 10‑hour evening shifts).

• Active certification through ASCP, AMT, HEW or AAB.
• Minimum 18 months of Medical Laboratory Technologist/Technician experience.
• State license may be required.
• Basic grasp of scientific laboratory procedures, including laboratory equipment operation and report generation.

• Test blood and bodily fluids using complex laboratory equipment to ascertain a wide variety of information.
• Examine specimens for bacteria, viruses or parasites.
• Measure levels of drugs or other chemicals in the blood to help ensure therapeutic levels.
• Assess the chemical content of blood to determine deficiencies or excesses of nutrients, cholesterol, or blood sugars.
• Utilize cell counters, cultures, microscopes and other equipment.
• Follow lab protocol for analyzing, interpreting and delivering test results.
